Description
The project is being developed by GE Power and Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group. The project is currently owned by Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group with a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel will be procured from Blue Whale gas field,Ca Voi Xanh field.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2027. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2028.
