Mohave County Wind Farm is a 350MW onshore wind power project. It is located in Arizona, the US. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 2020.

Description

The project was developed by BP Alternative Energy North America, Mohave County Wind Farm and Orion Energy Group. The project is currently owned by Mohave County Wind Farm with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 830,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 175,000 households. The project cost is $583.45m.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 80m high.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2020.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Clean Power Alliance under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 300MW.

Contractors Involved

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The wind power project consists of 126 turbines.
