Description

The project was developed by Energia Eolica, Ferrostaal, Galp Energia SGPS and Martifer SGPS. The project is currently owned by Ferrostaal with a stake of 50% and Finerge Gestao de Projectos Energeticos.

The project has 100m high towers.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2016.

Contractors Involved

Afaplan – Planeamento e Gestao de Projectos and Senvion were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Senvion was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 21 units of MM92 turbines, each with 2.05MW nameplate capacity.

Senvion is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 20 years.
