The project was developed by EDF Renewables Canada. The project is co-owned by EDF Renewables Canada and MD1 Wind, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Mont-Rothery Wind Farm (Mont-Rothery Wind Farm phase II) is equipped with Senvion MM92 turbines. The phase consists of 21 turbines with 2.05MW nameplate capacity.
