Description
The project was developed by Cartier Wind Energy and is currently owned by Innergex Renewable Energy with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 193,400MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 7,000 households. The project cost is $83m.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in November 2011.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Hydro-Quebec under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2011. The contracted capacity is 58.5MW.
Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 39 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
Techeol is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2011.
