The project is currently owned by Electricite de France with a stake of 100%.
Monteynard is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 275 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 125m. The project generated 480 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 90MW nameplate capacity.
