Mt Poso Cogeneration Plant is a combined heat and power (CHP) project. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Pacific Gas and Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
