Description
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
Mtibwa Sugar Cogeneration Plant (Mtibwa Sugar Cogeneration Plant Phase I) consists of 1 turbine with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
Mtibwa Sugar Cogeneration Plant (Mtibwa Sugar Cogeneration Plant Phase I) consists of 1 turbine with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Mtibwa Sugar Cogeneration Plant (Mtibwa Sugar Cogeneration Plant Phase II) consists of 1 turbine with 9MW nameplate capacity.
