Description

The project was developed by Mumbida Wind Farm. Energy Infrastructure Trust and Synergy Wind are currently owning the project.

The project generates 137,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 165,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $200m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Water under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 55MW.

Contractors Involved

CPB Contractors and General Electric were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 22 units of 2.5-100 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 10 years.
