The project is developed and owned by Andhra Pradesh Power Generation.
The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock length is 5.35m. The project cost is $135.065m.

Contractors Involved
Bharat Heavy Electricals was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of kaplan turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.
Bharat Heavy Electricals supplied 2 electric generators for the project.
