Naghlu is a 100MW hydro power project. It is located on Kabul and Panjshir Rivers river/basin in Kabul, Afghanistan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1965.

Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat and Ministry of Energy and Water, Afghanistan are currently owning the project.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 550 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 61m. Naghlu underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2014.
The project got commissioned in 1965.
Technopromexport was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.
Ukrainian Energy Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.
Energomash supplied 4 electric generators for the project.
