Nam Gnouang is a 60MW hydro power project. It is located on Nam Gnouang river/basin in Laos. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2013.

Theun-Hinboun Power and Statkraft are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
Nam Gnouang is a reservoir based project. The net head of the project is 47m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock diameter is 5.5m.
The project got commissioned in 2013.
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 turbines, each with 30MW nameplate capacity.
Andritz Hydro supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 33 MVA.
