The project is being developed and currently owned by China Sichuan Gurong Group.
The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 3,817 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project will be 121m. The penstock length will be 45m. The penstock diameter will be 5.5m. The project is expected to generate 385 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $199.541m.
The hydro power project consists of 3 units of francis turbines.
