Enbridge, in partnership with Renewable Energy Systems Americas (RES Americas), has completed construction of the 250MW Cedar Point wind project in Colorado, US.
The project has been built at an estimated cost of $535m.
Xcel Energy subsidiary Public Service Company of Colorado will purchase power generated by the project, under a long-term contract.
The plant is expected to supply power to 80,000 households and aid in reducing 783,000t of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
