Ngoulmendjim is a 73MW hydro power project. It is planned on Komo river/basin in Estuaire, Gabon. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2023 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2025.

Description

The project is being developed by Asokh Energie. Eranove and Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund (FGIS) are currently owning the project.

The project is expected to generate 500 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $117.738m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 units of pelton turbines.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Government Of Gabon under a power purchase agreement.
