It is a steam turbine power plant that is used for Baseload.

Contractors Involved
Harbin Turbine was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 2 units of CLNJK660-24.2 / 566/566 turbines, each with 660MW nameplate capacity.
Harbin Electric Machinery supplied QFSN 660-2 electric generator for the Ningxia Shuidonggou Power Plant (Ningxia Shuidonggou Power Plant Unit I).
Harbin Electric Machinery supplied QFSN 660-2 electric generator for the Ningxia Shuidonggou Power Plant (Ningxia Shuidonggou Power Plant Unit II).
Harbin Boiler supplied steam boiler for the Ningxia Shuidonggou Power Plant (Ningxia Shuidonggou Power Plant Unit I).
