Description
The project was developed by Northwind. Aspiravi, Parkwind and Sumitomo are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 30% and 30% respectively.
The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.
The project generates 850,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 230,000 households, offsetting 240,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $1,075.33m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in 2013.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Electrabel under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Offshore Wind was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 72 units of V112-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 15 years.
