Description

BNDES Participacoes, The AES and Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 28.41%, 24.35% and 7.94% respectively.

Nova Avanhandava is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 0.288 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 29.7m.

ANDRITZ HYDRO Inepar do Brasil was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of kaplan turbines.
