The project was developed by Duke Energy Renewables. Duke Energy Renewables and John Hancock Life Insurance are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 17,000 households. The project cost is $134.064m.

Contractors Involved
Suzlon Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 28 units of S88-2.1 MW turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.
