The project is being developed by BlueFloat Energy and Falck Renewables. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.
The project is expected to generate 4,000,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 1,000,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $2,876.9m. The turbines will be mounted on a floating type foundation.
