Description
The project was developed by Nippon Solar Services GK and is currently owned by Sonnedix Japan.
Oita-Sonnedix Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.
The project generates 46,400MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 15,500 households, offsetting 22,502t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $112m.

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in March 2020.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Kyushu Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
LG CNS and Maetel were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
LG Electronics was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company supplied modules with rated capacity of 340W.
The inverters were procured from Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems for the project.
