Description

The project is currently owned by Territorial Generation Company No. 11 with a stake of 100%.

It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant can also run on Natural Gas, Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Ekibastuz Coal Mine.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in 1965.

Ural Turbine Works was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.

NPO Elsib supplied TVF-60-2, TVF-120-2, Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the project.
