Description

The project was developed by Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget and Turinge Energi. The project is co-owned by CapMan and Red Rock Power, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project generates 800GWh of electricity. The project cost is $313.262m.

The project has 155m high towers.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in 2020.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Norsk Hydro under a power purchase agreement for a period of 29 years from 2019. The contracted capacity is 235MW.

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 56 units of SWT-DD-130 turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2019, for a period of 25 years.
