Paldiski Wind Farm is a 45MW onshore wind power project. It is located in Harju, Estonia. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2013.

The project is co-owned by Eesti Energia and Nelja Energia, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project generates 52,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 21,000 households, offsetting 49,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $47.08m.

Contractors Involved

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 18 units of 2.5-100 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 10 years.
