The project is developed and owned by Abengoa. The company has a stake of 100%.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 300,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $150m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Administracion Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Electricas under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Abengoa was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 25 units of G90-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 20 years.
