The project supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 140,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $175m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Administracion Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Electricas under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2017. The contracted capacity is 70MW.
Abengoa was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 35 units of V110-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
