Description
The project is currently owned by Maharashtra State Power Generation with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel is procured from Mahanadi Coal Limited.
The project cost is $225.293m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 2010.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Bharat Heavy Electricals was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.
Bharat Heavy Electricals supplied steam boiler for the project.
