Paulo Afonso (Paulo Afonso I) is equipped with Andritz Hydro francis turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 60MW nameplate capacity.

Paulo Afonso (Paulo Afonso II) is equipped with ALSTOM Hydro Energia Brasil francis turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 75MW nameplate capacity.

Paulo Afonso (Paulo Afonso III) is equipped with Voith Hydro Holding francis turbines. The phase consists of 4 turbines with 198.5MW nameplate capacity.

Paulo Afonso (Paulo Afonso IV) is equipped with ALSTOM Hydro Energia Brasil francis turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 70MW nameplate capacity.
