Description

The project was developed by Fred. Olsen Renewables. Fred. Olsen Renewables and The Renewables Infrastructure Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households. The project cost is $138.589m.

The project has 58.5m high towers.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in May 2006.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to E.ON Energy Solutions under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 28 units of B82/2300 turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2011, for a period of 6 years.
