The Payra R-LNG Combined Cycle Power Plant is 3,600MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Barisal, Bangladesh. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in multiple phases. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2024.

The project is being developed and currently owned by BP, China National Machinery Import & Export, North West Power Generation and Siemens Energy. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 50%, 20%, 15% and 15% respectively.
