Platteview Solar PV Park, US

Platteview Solar PV Park is an 81MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Nebraska, the US. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2023.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Community Energy.

Platteview Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 500 acres.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 14,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $87.318m.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Omaha Public Power District under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
