The project is currently owned by Companhia Energetica de Sao Paulo with a stake of 100%.

The gross head and net head of the project are 19.2m and 18.3m respectively.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 1980 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1999.

Contractors Involved

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of kaplan turbines.

The electric generators for the project were procured from ABB Asea Brown Boveri, GE Renewable Energy and General Electric Hydro Inepar do Brasil.
