The project is being developed by Renewable Energy Systems Canada. Membertou First Nation and EverWind Fuels are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Contractors involved

Nordex will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 15 units of N163/5.X turbines, each with 5.9MW nameplate capacity.
