The project is being developed and currently owned by Lightsource BP Renewable Energy Investments.
Bellflower Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 1,400 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 27,000 households, to offset 223,440t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $245.31m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Verizon Communications under a power purchase agreement.

SOLV is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
