The project is being developed by ABO Wind and Rocky Mountain Power. The project is currently owned by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners KS with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 1,500,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 240,000 households. The project is expected to offset 795,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Amazon.com under a power purchase agreement. The offtake capacity is expected to be 415MW.

Contractors involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The wind power project consists of 83 turbines.
