Description

The project is being developed by Energytec Renovables SAPI de CV, Eoliatec de Mexico and Grupo Dragon. The project is co-owned by Eoliatec de Mexico and Grupo Dragon, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project is expected to generate 212,000MWh electricity to offset 87,315t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $128m.

The wind power project consists of 21 turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.
