The project is developed and owned by Green Power Investment and Tohoku Electric Power. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 52,000 households, offsetting 91,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement
