Description
The project is being developed by Paintearth Wind Project. Potentia Renewables and Greengate Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
The project cost is expected to be around $329.27m.
The project will have 95.5m high towers.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Microsoft under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 38 units of SG 5.0-145 turbines, each with 5.2MW nameplate capacity.
