Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Mattawoman Energy. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that will be used for Baseload. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel Oil. The fuel will be procured from Dominion Energy Cove Point LNG Terminal.
The project cost is expected to be around $1,160m.
