The project is being developed by Solar Italy VI and is currently owned by Cero Generation with a stake of 100%.
Solar Italy Pontinia Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 33 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 140,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 47,000 households. The project is expected to offset 40,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $53.55m.
The solar power project consists of modules with rated capacity of 450W.
56 inverters are likely to get installed at the project site.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
