  1. Project Implementation: 105 tenders and an 83.3% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: 18 tenders and a 14.3% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three tenders and a 2.4% share.

Asia-Pacific leads power plant activity in March 2021

Comparing tenders activity in power plant segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 37 tenders and a share of 29.4% during March 2021, followed by Middle East and Africa with 27 tenders and a 21.4% share and Europe with 26 tenders and a 20.6% share.

Solar is leading technology for power plant tenders in March 2021

Among the technologies, solar accounted for 100 tenders with a 78.1% share, followed by hydro with 13 tenders and a 10.2% share and thermal with ten tenders and a 7.8% share.

The top issuers of power plant tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:

  2. Solar Energy Corporation of India: 1,785MW from one tender
  3. Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (India): 800MW capacity from two tenders.
