The project was developed by SolarPack Corporacion Tecnologica. The project is currently owned by Ardian Infrastructure with a stake of 81% and SolarPack Corporacion Tecnologica.

Pozo Almonte Photovoltaic Solar Plant -3 is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 126 hectares.

The project generates 46,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 17,021 households, offsetting 40,078t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 236,544 modules.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Compania Minera Dona Ines de Collahuasi SCM under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 16MW.
