Description

The project is currently owned by Pragati Power with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Naptha. The fuel is procured from GAIL through HBJ Pipeline.

The project generated 2,457,200MWh of electricity.

The project construction commenced in 2000 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in March 2002.

The power generated from the project is sold to Delhi Transco under a power purchase agreement.
