Pragati I Power Station is a 330MW gas fired power project. It is located in NCT, India. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in March 2002.

Description

The project is currently owned by Pragati Power with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Naptha. The fuel is procured from GAIL through HBJ Pipeline.

The project generated 2,457,200MWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in March 2002.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Delhi Transco under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Bharat Heavy Electricals was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

The Gas fired project have been supplied by Bharat Heavy Electricals and GE Power.

The electric generators for the project were procured from Bharat Heavy Electricals and GE Power.

Bharat Heavy Electricals supplied steam boiler for the project.
