Description

The project was developed by Obrascon Huarte Lain and OPDE Holding. Riverstone Holdings and OPDE Holding are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

PS Aguascalientes Sur I Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 117 hectares.

The project generates 76GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households. The project cost is $44.55m.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in January 2020.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.

Contractors Involved

OPDE Holding was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 109,380 modules each with 345W of nameplate capacity.

Power Electronics supplied 34,210 of its FS2600CH15 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising trackers supplied by Axial structural solutions.

OPDE Holding is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
