Description
The project is currently owned by Administracion Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Electricas.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from Cruz del Sur Gas Pipeline.

The project got commissioned in 2006.

The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Mitsubishi Power Aero.
