Raasakka is a 64MW hydro power project. It is located on Iijoki river/basin in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1971.

The net head of the project is 21m. Raasakka underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1997, 2018-2019. The project generated 230 GWh of electricity.

Oy Tampella was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of kaplan turbines.

GE Renewable Energy supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 23 MVA.

Caverion is the O&M contractor for the hydro power project, commencing from the year 2013.
