The project was developed by Aquila Merchant Services and is currently owned by Union Electric.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The fuel is procured from Enable Mississippi River Transmission, LLC.
The project got commissioned in June 2002.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of 7E.03 gas turbines, each with 114MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
ProEnergy Services is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
