Rachaganneri I Substation is a 400/220/132kV substation located in Rachaganneri, Andhra Pradesh, India. The construction works on Rachaganneri I Substation began in 2019. The project was commissioned in 2020.

Description

The Rachaganneri I Substation project is a new substation being operated by Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh.

The designed voltage level of the project is 400/220/132kV, while the operating voltage level is 400/220/132kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 132kV. The substation capacity is 315MVA.

Rachaganneri I Substation has received approval from Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission to undertake the works on the project.
