Description

The project was developed by E.ON Climate & Renewables North America and is currently owned by RWE with a stake of 100%.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 90,000 households, offsetting 500,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $500m.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2016 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in December 2017.

Power Purchase Agreement

Calpine Energy Solutions and Citigroup Energy are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 139 units of V110-2.2 turbines, each with 2.2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2017.
