The project is developed and owned by Finerge Gestao de Projectos Energeticos.
The project generates 64.5GWh electricity thereby offsetting 35,570t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2011.
Contractors Involved
Enercon was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 14 units of E-82 E2 / 2,300 kW turbines, each with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
